About Edinburgh
The conference will take place in and around Hotel The George on George Street in Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town. The George is a few minutes walk from the terminus of the Edinburgh Airlink bus, which runs every few minutes from Edinburgh’s International Airport, now the main airport in Scotland with links to airports across the rest of the UK and over 70 international destinations. The George is equally close to Edinburgh Waverley Station, the main railway station in Edinburgh with links across the British rail network.
Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city and a World Heritage Site, with an outstanding cityscape ranging from the ancient Castle to the 21st century Scottish Parliament. It is lively by day and night, with the conference located at the heart of a vast choice of restaurants, bars and nightlife.
The conference will be centred in The George, with sessions taking place there and at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the Dome nearby.
