Now entering its 40^th year, this prestigious prize is awarded annually to the best book in political science.

Authors must be PSA members at the time of submission.

Nominations may be submitted by publishers, heads of department (or equivalent senior colleague) and PSA Specialist Groups. We also welcome self-nominations, supported by two other PSA members.

Supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in our discipline is a key strategic priority for the PSA. Therefore, we particularly welcome nominations from women, and from black and minority ethnic authors.
