Flipping the COVID-19 Classroom

Covid-19 has created a unique situation where adapting to teach online has created both a number of challenges and opportunities. In this webinar, we discuss the adaptations made to a level 1 statistics module including modes of delivery and the introduction of flipped lab sessions. We offer a frank reflection on how this has worked from both a staff and student perspective. We discuss some of the clear benefits of this approach to teaching statistics and identify how this enforced change has actually promoted a number of positive changes in pedagogic practice. We end with a discussion of new innovations and suggestions for the future.
