The Brexit referendum illustrated some substantial attitudinal divides in Britain. One such divide that gained a lot of attention was the young vs. old divide. There are many difficult questions that arise from the generational differences, young people are going to have to live with the consequences of Brexit for much longer and are already in vulnerable economic positions. This panel explores the generational divide in the EU referendum from a youth perspective. It looks at how young people formed their opininons of Brexit, how students were mobilised, and how they eventually voted.
