The PSA's annual conference for undergraduate students will take place on the campus of Cardiff University on Thursday 29 March 2018.

This event provides a great opportunity for politics students and those in related subjects who are studying for undergraduate degrees to come together and share their research.

Students from across the UK and abroad are invited to submit papers on the theme Politics of Our Times, which mirrors the main PSA Conference taking place in the Welsh capital earlier in the week.

Potential themes for exploration by student panellists include: Brexit and the future of the EU; Trump; populist politics; the limits of globalisation; the continuing repercussions of the 2008 financial crisis; and climate change. We welcome papers from different sub disciplines within politics including comparative politics; political philosophy; and international relations, as well as papers from different methodological traditions.

The event is open to PSA members and non-members, costs £10, and will run from 10am until 5pm. The price includes a buffet lunch and a keynote speaker to be announced shortly.

The deadline for submitting proposals is 19th February 2018. Please email the title of your presentation and a 100 word abstract to conference convener Thomas Leahy ( or via the PSA
