The PSA is holding this event as part of the annual Economic and Social Research Council Festival of Social Science.
The event is entitled ‘Scottish Independence and Young People’, and takes place on Tuesday 5 November 2013, 1.00pm – 3.30pm, Laigh Room, St Cecilia's Hall, Grassmarket, Edinburgh EH1 1LJ.
1.00 - 1.25pm Buffet lunch and a chance to meet other students

1.30 - 2.00pm Key issues in relation to the Independence Referendum in Scotland - Professor Margaret Arnott, University of the West of Scotland)
2.00 – 3.00pm Young People and the Independence Referendum in Scotland - Professor Lindsay Paterson and Dr Jan Eichhorn, University of Edinburgh)
3.00 - 3.30pm Question and Answer Session
The event presents a chance for the key issues related to the referendum on Scottish independence to be presented to those who will be eligible to vote in September 2014. There will be a focus on young people's feelings and perceptions, and we hope to see plenty of audience participation!
The event is open to students from S4 to S6, and is free of charge.
