Organised by the PSA Women and Politics and PSA Race, Migration and Intersectionality Specialist Groups. This conference will be in-person, but we will make provisions for participants to join online if they can’t attend in person.

Aims

• Bring together political scientists and political sociologists researching intersections of social inequalities, structures or categories including – but not limited to – race, class and gender.

• Encourage engagement across political science and political sociology, across methodological approaches and inclusive of diverse scholars.

• Create a community of Early Career Researchers who share these commitments.

We seek papers, panels and presentations based on empirical and theoretical work which draws on the Black feminist theory of intersectionality and addresses the intersections of multiple inequalities, categories and structures.
