In a bumper Summer of Sport, the Paris 2024 Olympics will be the first ever ‘gender equal’ Olympics with equal numbers of men and women competing. What does this mean for the traditionally masculinised nature of sport? What are the big issues on gender, and its intersections, within sport today? Join us for this event, co-hosted by the Political Studies Association’s Women and Politics and Sport and Politics Specialist Groups, as our panel of experts give their views on the challenges and achievements made in gender and sport in recent times.
