Standard Academic Membership
This annual membership is offered on progressively priced levels:
If you earn less than £40k per year: £72.00
If you earn £40k-60k per year: £82.00
If you earn more than £60k per year: £92.00
Unwaged/unemployed Academics in Higher Education
This annual membership is for academics who are unwaged or unemployed.
Unwaged academic membership: £40.00
Retired Academics
Retired academics can now choose between an annual membership and lifetime membership of the PSA.
Retired members are the only PSA members who can enjoy free attendance to the PSA Annual Conference! Get in touch if you’d be willing to be a panel Chair or Discussant.
- Annual Retired membership: £60.00
- Lifetime Retired membership: £500.00
Our Early Career Network annual membership is open to PhD students and early career academics within three years of completing their viva. In addition to all the benefits listed above, ECN members also enjoy a wide range of ECN-specific events, an ECN e-newsletter with information specific to early career academics and other benefits included in their ECN membership.
Early Career Network membership: £20.00
Student Membership
This annual membership is for Students aged 16-19, undergraduate students or masters students.
Student members have access to all member benefits except member voting rights and access to our academic journals.
Student membership: £10.00
