The Political Studies Association (PSA) is delighted to announce the new editorial team for its flagship journal Politics.

From 1 August 2024, Politics will be edited by an impressive team at the University of Glasgow, led by editors: Dr Sergiu Gherghina, Professor Kelly Kollman, Dr Niccole Pamphilis and Dr Bernhard Reinsberg. The new team said:

We are excited to take over as the new editorial team of Politics starting on 1 August 2024. Building on the excellent work of the outgoing team, we are committed to making the journal a home for excellent research covering all sub-fields of political science, including developing the section on teaching politics and special forums. We look forward to bringing our diverse research backgrounds to the journal and making it an attractive outlet for a wide range of scholars. We are eager to meet future authors and readers at upcoming conferences, workshops, and journal related events we will be organising.

The selection process was led by Professor Nicholas Allen as his Trustee role as Publications lead. He welcomed the new team saying:

I’m absolutely delighted to welcome the incoming editorial team based at the University of Glasgow. Politics will benefit greatly from their experience, their global vision for the journal and their commitment to promoting teaching and learning in political studies.

I would also like to extend a massive thank you on behalf of the PSA to the outgoing editors, Liz Evans, Simon Griffiths, Eskander Sadeghi-Boroujerdi and Martina Tazzioli. The team at Goldsmiths, University of London, have made an incredible contribution to the diversification of Politics over the past three years

Senior Publishing Editor from SAGE Publishing, Sophie Donnelly added:

We are looking forwards to this exciting next chapter, for both Politics and the wider PSA journal suite.
