The Political Studies Association (PSA) is inviting expressions of interest for the next editorial team of the British Journal of Politics and International Relations (BJPIR). This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate leadership in the discipline, shape the future of a leading journal, and support the next generation of research in Politics and International Relations.

BJPIR is a leading international journal in Politics and International Relations, known for publishing rigorous, innovative, and impactful research. As the current editorial team prepares to step down in August 2027, the PSA is looking ahead to the journal’s next phase.

We are taking a staged approach, beginning with an expression of interest phase to allow prospective, editors individuals or/and teams, to come forward, explore collaborations, and develop ideas ahead of the formal application process.
