Applications for this years W.J.M. Mackenzie Book Prize have now closed.

We are thrilled to have received almost two dozen books for our judges to deliberate for this years prize!

Last year’s winning books were Brexitland (Cambridge University Press) by Maria Sobolewska & Robert Ford and Feminist Democratic Representation (Oxford University Press) by Karen Celis & Sarah Childs.

Nominations came from publishers, PSA Specialist Groups, heads of department and by self-nominations.

The winner will be announced during the PSA’s next international conference 3 – 5 April 2023 (in partnership with the University of Liverpool).
