The New Zealand Political Studies Association has a reciprocal arrangement with the UK PSA whereby they offer to pay some conference costs of one UK member, attending their annual conference, providing they meet certain criteria. Their conference this year is in Dunedin from 29 November to 1 December. Information about the conference is here.
To be eligible for the conference award the following criteria must be met:
- Conference abstract(s) must be submitted to the conference organisers by the end of 31 August 2017;
- An application for the award must be made to the Secretary of the NZPSA including a copy of the abstract(s), evidence of UKPSA membership, and a brief and relevant CV;
- Applications must reach the NZPSA Secretary by the end of 31 August 2017.
Applications will be prioritised where they can be best hosted by an existing NZPSA Network or speak to one of the key conference themes. The award covers registration, the conference dinner, and up to three nights conference accommodation. Flights and other meals are not covered by the award.
