The PSA is deeply saddened to hear of the death on 3 July of Professor Jacqui Briggs, head of the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lincoln.  Jacqui was a dear friend and colleague to many PSA members. She was a  former trustee and was active in a range of PSA activities including representing us on the Board of the Campaign for Social Science and convening one of our specialist groups Young People and Politics. Our condolences go to her family and friends and we will be recognising her contribution more fully in the next issue of PSA News.
