Congratulations to PSA member and former trustee, Professor Umut Korkut for his recent re-election to the Executive Committee International Political Science Association (IPSA) – where he will represent the PSA (as the recognised national association for the UK).

At the recent IPSA Council meeting in July, he was affirmed as a Vice-President by the new President Professor Diane Pinderhugues and Umut will lead the Gender and Diversity Monitoring Committee as well.

PSA Chair, Roger Awan-Scully, commented: “We wish Umut every success in this role and thank him for his continued commitment to both the PSA and IPSA. I am sure that through Umuts efforts, we will see our partnership with IPSA strengthen in the years to come.”
