PSA Executive Committee Election: the results
11 June 2015

The votes have been counted and verified by the Returning Officer, Professor Paul Carmichael and we can now announce that Dr Meryl Kenny (University of Leicester) and Professor Will Jennings (University of Southampton) have been elected to sit on the Executive Committee of the Political Studies Association. Dr Meryl Kenny topped the poll with the most first preference votes in the election, which used a STV (Single Transferable Vote) voting system.

Will is a familiar face to many already, having been co-opted to serve on the Committee over the last year, but Meryl will sit on the Committee for the first time. They will officially become Trustees of the PSA, both to serve a term of three years, commencing on the 26th of June.

We are grateful to everyone who ran for election and we would like to also thank every member who took the time to vote.

The full results of the election can be downloaded here.
