The Political Studies Association of the UK is horrified by the events unfolding in Ukraine. We express our profound solidarity with the people of Ukraine, our academic colleagues and students based in Ukraine, and our members and colleagues with links to Ukraine.

We join many others in calling on the UK government and the international community to do everything in its power to oppose the unprovoked aggression of the Putin government, and to help Ukrainians to be able to live in peace as an independent and democratic country.

There are many excellent and informative threads on Twitter from academics and other expert commentators which are worth engaging with, and we will share as many as possible from the PSA twitter feed.
