The Political Studies Association (PSA) is delighted to announce that the existing team from the University of York will edit its flagship journal Political Studies for a second three-year term from 31 July 2026.

On this announcement, the Editorial team Professor Monica Brito Vieira, Professor Graeme Davies, Professor Daphne Halikiopoulou and Professor Sarah Shair-Rosenfield said: “The University of York team are very excited to extend their editorship of Political Studies, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to publishing world-leading and innovative research for another term.”

The PSA’s Trustee for Academic Publishing Professor Nicholas Allen added: “Political Studies, the PSA’s oldest and best-known journal, has benefited greatly from the York team’s ambition and expertise. The extension of their editorial term for a further three years is excellent news for both the journal and the discipline.”
