With the support of ESRC, we are now pleased to be offering a media training day for shortlisted pitchers to help them sell their ideas in a way that will appeal to the panel.

This will take place in central London on 8 December 2017, and costs will be covered for the successful candidates. This will also be an opportunity to hear from our Total Exposure Project Lead, Professor Cathy Gormley-Heenan, about her pitching and production experience!

As well as the prospect of securing your very own TV or radio show, Total Exposure is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your research, think beyond academia and develop your communication skills. Watch this short video to hear from 2017 entrants about their experience pitching to the expert panel.

Cathy Gormley-Heenan achieved success with the inaugural Total Exposure in 2016. Cathy has spent the past year recording on location in Belfast, Israel-West Bank, and the US-Mexican border. Her documentary, Peace and Walls, aired on BBC World Service in April 2017 and is available to listen to here.
