Join the PSA team!

The Political Studies Association (PSA) is looking for an organised and experienced membership officer to join our small, dynamic team as Membership & Programmes Officer maternity cover.

This is a varied role at heart of the PSA’s membership and programmes work. The successful candidate will be the principal contact for our members, overseeing membership registrations and renewals, responding to enquiries, maintaining our CRM and helping to ensure members receive a high-quality experience throughout their relationship with the PSA.

The Membership and Programmes Officer also provides support to the PSA’s 48 Specialist Groups and member networks, including managing enquiries, supporting groups with their website and CRM access, helping new groups get established, and assisting with communications and member data.

You will support a range of PSA annual programmes and events, including our prizes, member initiatives and our Annual Conference. The PSA 2027 conference will take place at the University of Hull from 22–24 March and is expected to welcome over 800 delegates. Alongside other members of the team, you will play an active role in conference preparation and delivery, including delegate communications, registration data, exhibitor communications, badges, logistics and on-site support.
