Twice a year, the PSA is permitted to nominate some of its members to become Fellows of the Academy of Social Science.

"Nominees must be people of established status and reputation. Nominees must have made a substantial contribution to wider social science – to policy or practice – going beyond the normal requirements of their position."

The full list of criteria, and the guidelines for nomination, can be found on the Academy's website. The selection process is highly competitive and involves a rigorous nomination process.

To make a nomination please complete sections 1, 3, and 4 of the Nomination Form, alongside the Academy's Diversity Monitoring form, and return it to Paul Tobin no later than 5pm on Friday 24th May

To complete the nomination procedure, a four-page CV of the individual must be included. The proposer and the nominee cannot be based at the same institution.

The full guidelines can be found here.
