Committee to launch new inquiry on Parliament's role in conflict decisions

The Political and Constitutional Reform Committee today publishes a short report outlining its work so far on Parliament’s role in conflict decisions and announcing its intention to conduct a further inquiry in the light of recent developments.
Committee Chair Graham Allen MP said:
“The Foreign Secretary committed to enshrine in law the necessity of consulting Parliament on military action. The Committee will be looking at what progress has been made on this long-standing commitment.”
