Lord Trevor Smith

Lord Smith was a leading academic in the field of political science, spending most of his career at Queen Mary, University of London, where he began as a lecturer earning the title of Professor of Political Science in 1983. 

Lord Smith was a close friend of the PSA, an active member since the organisation's beginnings in the 1950s and serving as our Chairman in 1988-9. 

He will be greatly missed by the PSA and the political science community. We send our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
