Professor Christopher Hood (1947-2025)

We were sad to hear of the passing of distinguished scholar Professor Christopher Hood CBE FBA on 3 January 2025. Professor Hood’s expertise in public administration meant he was the recipient of numerous awards and honours, including winning the PSA’s WJM Mackenzie book prize twice and receiving the John Gaus lifetime achievement Award from the American Political Science Association in 2021.
