PSA members recognised by Academy of Social Sciences

The PSA wishes to congratulate our members recognised by the Academy of Social Sciences as one of 73 newly awarded Fellows.
The Academy of Social Sciences is delighted to announce that it has conferred the award of Fellow on 73 leading social scientists. The new Fellows are drawn from academics, practitioners and policymakers across the social sciences. They have been recognised after an extensive peer review process for the excellence and impact of their work through the use of social science for public benefit. This includes substantial contributions and leadership in various fields, including higher education, social, economic and environmental policy, government, law, charitable foundations and think tanks.
PSA members recognised by the Academy include:
- Professor Jane Duckett, Edward Caird Chair of Politics, University of Glasgow. A leading international authority on Chinese politics, including on health, social and welfare policy.
- Professor Kristian Gleditsch, Regius Professor of Political Science, University of Essex. A world-leading political scientist, renowned for his research on international relations.
- Professor Inderjeet Parmar, Professor in International Politics, City, University of London. An eminent scholar in international relationship and author of Foundations of the American Century, an obligatory reference point on the history of social science, international relations and US foreign policy.
- Professor Daniel Wincott, Blackwell Professor of Law and Society, Cardiff University. An eminent scholar who has made major interventions on numerous areas of politics and law, including on UK devolution, European welfare capitalism and Brexit.
