PSA welcomes new Trustees & Honorary Secretary
The PSA staff and trustees wish to thank the five brilliant candidates who recently stepped forward to stand for election and to all our members who took the opportunity to vote.
Firstly, we warmly thank Prof. Indrajit Roy for his service to the association as his current term as a PSA Trustee comes to an end. He did a brilliant job providing support to, in particular, our Specialist Groups. Happily, Indrajit has agreed to continue as the PSA/UK representative on the IPSA Executive Committee.
We also wish to thank Dr. Andy Mycock who will also shortly complete his second and final term as a PSA Trustee which saw him lead on Membership and strategic development as well as hold the office of PSA Vice-Chair.
We are delighted to welcome three new trustees to the PSA Executive Committee who will join the current trustees for a three-year term from June 2025:

Prof. Georgina Blakeley
Associate Dean Teaching & Learning and Professor of Democracy & Governance, University of Huddersfield

Dr. Aleida Borges
Research Fellow, King’s College London

Dr. Emma Foster
Associate Professor in International Politics & Gender, University of Birmingham

Additionally, we are delighted to announce that Dr. Donna Smith (Senior Lecturer in Politics, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Open University) has been appointed as the PSA’s next Honorary Secretary
We wish Donna, Aleida, Emma, and Georgina every success in these roles which are vital to ensuring that the Political Studies Association is well-governed and on track to deliver its charitable goals as set out in the Strategic Plan 2025-28.
