This guide will show you how to review abstracts via the Oxford Abstracts system. You must log into the Oxford Abstract via https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/auth/ with the email which we contact normally contact you form (it will be the same email we have on your contact record).
When you log into the website, if you used the correct email address and have submissions coming through, you should be able to see outstanding reviews. Click on ‘GO TO REVIEWS’ button see action the submissions which have come in.
On the next page, click the ‘Start reviewing’ button go see start the reviewing process to start reviewing your latest outstanding review or select the abstract on the left side if there’s a specific abstract you wish to review. You will only be able to see your outstanding reviews, so if another convenor has already reviewed a paper, you won’t be able to see this.
The reviewing of the abstracts is a simple decision question where you indicate whether the paper should be including in your panels or not. In situations where one convenor has accepted an abstract and another has rejected that abstract, we will make sure the spreadsheets communicate this information to groups when you start to form panels. You can see which reviews you have completed as it will have a green tick next the abstract’s title.
