Politics is edited by a team based at the University of Glasgow. We are a pluralist politics and international studies journal that welcomes all approaches, theories, methods, and empirical cases. We exist to publish the very best in original, timely, research-led reflections on politics and international studies.

We aim to provide a swift, responsive and informative review process. We aim to provide every author – even those rejected from the journal – with feedback that will improve their work.

Ultimately we aim to be a primary destination for research-led reflection on learning and teaching in politics and international studies.

We also welcome proposals for special issues or sections.

Full information about the types of contribution published and how to submit your manuscript or special issue proposal can be found here.
