To mark the 20th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, the Political Studies Association teamed up with a range of academics to examine it’s legacy. Each academic was given 20 seconds to give their opinion on the agreement and its aftermath. In this video, Eamonn O’Kane talks about the Good Friday Agreement’s legacy of pragmatism. 

Dr Eamonn O’Kane is a Reader in Conflict Studies at the University of Wolverhampton. His research interests are focused upon the Northern Ireland conflict and peace process; British-Irish relations, and comparative peace processes. He is a co-convenor of the PSA’s Irish Politics specialist group.
