Before co-founding BritainThinks, Deborah Mattinson jointly ran the Chime Research and Engagement Division. She was also pollster to Gordon Brown, firstly as Chancellor of the Exchequer, then as Prime Minister.

Sir John Curtice is Senior Research Fellow at NatCen, Professor of Politics at Strathclyde University, and Chief Commentator on the What UK Thinks: EU and What Scotland Thinks websites. He was given a knighthood in the Queen’s New Year honours list for his high-profile work in political analysis.

Akash Paun is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Government. He has led research across areas including: civil service accountability; the challenges of coalition government; devolution and the future of the UK; and the role and functions of select committees. He a regular commentator in national and international media.
