Scaffold Learning: How to Guide and Engage your Students into Online Learning By Cristina Leston-Bandeira (University of Leeds)
The PSA Teaching and Learning Network has launched its first ever webinar series on 'Teaching Politics Online: Pedagogy, Support & Community'. This series has been recorded and relevant information and resources can be found here.
In this webinar, Cristina will encourage participants to think through key characteristics that distinguish an online learning environment, to then discuss possible ways to guide students to engage with this mode of learning. The seminar will identify practical ways of guiding students through online learning, and to engage them into this mode of learning. This will include signposting to finding material within a virtual learning environment, to ensuring student participation in online classes.
This webinar was delivered live on Thursday 4th June (3-4pm).
