Description

The French Politics and Policy Specialist Group of the Political Studies Association (PSA) aims to preserve and promote the strong tradition of French political studies in the UK. It fosters connections between scholars working in the various sub-disciplines of the study of French politics; connects UK scholars interested in France with their international counterparts and professional associations; and supports high quality research on all aspects of French politics.

The group organises panels at the PSA annual conference and Undergraduate Conference, and the American Political Science Association (APSA) Annual Meeting. It provides a platform for early career researchers and doctoral students to disseminate their research through specialist workshops and postgraduate conferences, and promotes the award of prizes in recognition of academic excellence.

We publish a quarterly newsletter for members to showcase their work. If you would like to be featured in our next edition, please email us (see below) And, please, don’t hesitate to contact the group’s Convenors if you would like to organise an event.

The group’s co-Convenors are Dr. Emily St Denny ed@ifs.ku.dk; Dr. Françoise Boucek f.boucek@qmul.ac.uk and Professor Rainbow Murray r.r.murray@qmul.ac.uk

Please get in touch if you would like further information or have any suggestions for the group.
