Panel discussion

Global Climate Politics After COP26

At this event, an expert panel will reflect on COP26, assessing what happened, what didn't happen and what needs to happen next if the worst climate scenarios are to be avoided.

How successful were the COP26 negotiations? Why wasn't more achieved in the negotiations? What are the key targets for COP27? What are key dynamics which are likely to shape global climate politics going forward? How are specific nation-states, such as the US, China and India, approaching global climate diplomacy? How effective a vehicle is the UN COP process?

*This event will be run online.*
