PSA ECN Annual Conference 2023 'Political Worlds'

Our annual conference will take place virtually from 3 to 7 July 2023. Registration is now open.

Our annual conference ‘Political Worlds’ will take place from 3 to 7 July 2023.

We received so many excellent abstracts from PhD and early career researchers this year and are so excited to hear about everyone’s fantastic work. Like last year, the conference will be taking place online with paper presentations and live events and workshops throughout the week. We will be hosting over 40 paper presentations across 14 panels from a global base of PhD and early career researchers. Presentations will be pre-recorded, so you can watch them in your own time throughout the entire week.

On the first day of the conference, we will host our Symposium ‘Producing Knowledge and Disciplining Politics’ which will see presentations and discussions on current methodological and theoretical debates within the discipline of political science.

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Karen Celis will join us as this year’s distinguished keynote speaker at ‘Political Worlds’. The keynote will be held live via Zoom on Wednesday, 5 July at 1pm UK time.

In addition to this, we will also have other live events throughout the week, including a full day of live sessions on Friday, 7 July. So, save the date(s) and make sure to keep an eye on our website and Twitter for announcements of more program highlights!

Registration for our conference is free. Please register via the Eventbrite page

We look forward to seeing many of you online in July!
