PSA Conference 2023 call for papers
PSA Political Thought specialist group call for papers for PSA conference 2023 now open
Our PSA Political Thought specialist group has been allocated four panels (plus two reserve panels) at the 2023 PSA conference, to be held at the University of Liverpool 3-5 April 2023.
If you would like to submit a paper to the conference via our group then please email us and we will put together some panels. You can also email us if you have an idea for a panel.
If you want to submit a paper via our group, please email the group convenors Simon Choat (s.choat@kingston.ac.uk) and Antonio Cerella (antonio.cerella@ntu.ac.uk) by 5 September 2022 (to give us time to collate panels before submitting them to the PSA by 14 Sep). Note that we will be away for some of the summer, but we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
If you do not wish to submit via the group, or you miss the deadline, an open call for papers will available 6 October to 8 November - see the conference website for details: /events/psa-annual-conference.
The conference will be a blended event, accepting both in-person and digital presentations - though panel chairs must be physically present and no online-only panels will be accepted. The theme of the conference is 'Political Futures'. Given this theme, we especially welcome submissions on political thought and climate change and/or decarbonising political thought - but we welcome submissions on any theme related to political thought.
