Politics and Policy in Southeast and East Asia
Politics and Policy in Southeast and East Asia specialist group aims to provide a hub for scholarly activity in and of the Asia-Pacific. The group provides a forum for scholars of Southeast and East Asia, both within the field of politics and related disciplines, to discuss current research, explore, and develop future research.
We welcome all academics with a research interest in Southeast and East Asia or in areas linked to southeast and East Asia, to join the group. This includes teachers and postgraduate students. Membership is also open to practitioners working in or on Southeast and East Asia at all levels. We welcome members from outside the UK.
PSA members should request to join the group online. Simply log in to the PSA website (your PSA Membership Card has the log in details), go to the ‘My Account’ section and select the ‘Group Membership’ tab. Here you can request membership to any specialist group.
The PSA’s network of 60 Specialist Groups offers a research focus for all members and covers a vast range of specialities within the discipline. SGs provide an opportunity for groups of academics who share a common interest in a particular area of the discipline to organise meetings, coordinate communications, and as outlets for research – as well as giving PSA members opportunities for developing their academic impact and professional development.”
