PSA-Parliament PhD Internship 2020/21
This joint initiative between the PSA and House of Commons Committee Office provides a fantastic opportunity for PSA members, currently studying toward their PhD, to gain some real-world experience working at Westminster.
Executive Assistant and Support Officer FTC 6 months
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the PSA’s Chief Executive, Board of Trustees and operational team to deliver our busy programme of activities. You will be extremely organised, professional and able to deal confidently with a whole range of queries and supportive tasks related to HR, governance, academic prizes, grants and our members.
Event Co-ordinator FTC 3 months
We are looking for an enthusiastic and thorough Events professional to support the development and delivery of our programme of digital events most notably the Annual International Conference which will be held at the end of March. You will be task-orientated and passionate about giving our members a great experience.

Both roles are currently home-based due to the ongoing pandemic but you need to be willing and able to come into our offices in Camden, London on occasion. The contracts for both roles have scope to be extended.
