The Good Country
Today, most problems are global, but countries continue to think and act local. They compete too much and collaborate too little, and most policy decisions are made without a moment’s consideration for their impact on the rest of humanity and the rest of the planet.
Simon Anholt’s mission is to change this. He launched the Good Country Index, the first attempt to measure how much each nation contributes to the global commons, at a TED event in June last year, and his talk was viewed more than a million times in little over a week. In December he launched the Good Country Party, which aims to provide a meeting-place for the estimated 10% of the world’s population that cares as much (or more) about international issues than domestic politics.
We look forward to welcoming you to London Met.
