New editorial teams for Political Studies and Political Studies Review
We are delighted to announce the new editorial teams for Political Studies (PS) and Political Studies Review (PSR). Political Studies will be managed by a team based at Sheffield with Andrew Hindmoor, Charles Pattie, Hayley Stevenson & Matt Sleat as lead editors. Political Studies Review will be managed by a team based at Bath and Birmingham with Isabella Engeli & David Cutts as lead editors. In the past, the journals have been managed by a team from one institution, but PSR is now fast becoming a world-class journal in its own right.
The PSA will continue to oversee the direction and relationship between all four journals, which includes linking their success to our broader strategic goals. Most notably, both appointments make a very strong statement on equality and diversity at the heart of key decisions. The new PSR team has made great efforts to signal a new approach to achieving equality and diversity across their editorial teams and journal content, and Sheffield has secured a gender-balanced team of Associate Editors and expressed a strong commitment to the PSA’s equality and diversity strategy.
Both teams will take up their editorships from June 2017.
