The 29th IPSA World Congress of Political Science will take place at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, 24-28 July 2027, under the theme Uncertain Democracies: Rethinking Governance in a Changing Global System. It marks IPSA’s first return to Rome since 1958. Full details on programme, registration, venue, and visas are at wc2027.ipsa.org.

The Congress will honour the late Leonardo Morlino, IPSA Past President 2009-2012 and Luiss professor, who died in June 2025.

A new policy permits closed panels to present in languages other than English, French, or Italian, provided all panel members agree. Submissions must still be written in English, French, or Italian.
